The Ivy Chelsea Garden (LONDON)
There aren’t many places in London where you can bask in the summer heat outside in big, gorgeous garden. The Ivy Chelsea Garden mean that both literally and figuratively. Both the indoor decor and garden are absolutely stunning, and the breakfast and brunch are on par.
Whether it’s thick buttermilk pancakes, truffled scrambled eggs or a kale egg white omlette you’re after, you won’t be short for choices with that menu. Beautifully presented, superb quality and mouth-wateringly good.

La Esquina (BARCELONA)
The venue is elegant and stylish, conveniently located just off Plaça Catalunya. La Esquina serves the quintessential brunch, complete with Eggs Benedict, avocado and poached egg on toast, Buck’s Fizz and Bloody Marys. If that wasn’t enough, they also smoke their own salmon in-house and serve coffee from the best roasting places in the city, including Nømad Coffee and Bright Side Coffee.
Café Méricourt (PARIS)
Brit owner Guy Griffin has gone for a similar vibe with the décor – clean and minimalist, with cacti, suspended wicker planters and stacks of indie magazines. The famed shakshuka remains a winner – tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, spices, harissa and a baked egg. The breakfast roll with fried eggs, bacon and chilli jam is a tonic for anyone feeling the effects of a heavy night. Don’t miss the maple syrup-drenched pancakes with fruit and cream – they were light and melt-in-the-mouth, without being too heavy.

This instagram-ready place on the other end of Pannierstraße is a breakfast favorite in its Kiez with its huge plates full of poached eggs, spinach and bread; black beans with fried eggs, salsa and feta; scrambled eggs; huevos rancheros; or sweet treats like a French toast with loads of fruits and greek yoghurt. Take your time or bring many friends to get the most out of this indulgent morning meal.

Da oTTo is a cafe run by three friends who dare to open a cool spot in Sarpi, the Chinatown of Milan. Not in the center, but a 20-minute walk (although it’s only a five minute walk away from 10 Corso Como) will get you there. The terrace with colorful blue chairs immediately caught your eye. Da oTTo is open from morning to late at night. You can go there for breakfast, lunch, dinner or an aperitivo.
