ISSEY MIYAKE MEN AW18 is inspired by the richness of the sensations of metropolitan life: contrasting rhythms, unexpected mixes, the contemporary speed, the symphony of the changes, the colors of the murals. An unusual coordination between new layers of colors and fabrics leads to an unexpected force. Functionality combines with the vitality to create a new workwear; relaxed and elegant, perfect for everyday life, active and exciting.

STRETCH TAPE

Elasticated bands are sewn along the body lines, on oversized flat pieces, with a fit that leaves agility in movement. These bands were developed through a new generation of thread polyester that allows maximum strength and elasticity. When heated, during the process of dyeing, the bands shrink to create the desired shape. The result is light, easy to wear, without ironing.

REVERSIBLE

Reversible clothes, which can be worn freely, depending on your mood. They do not have inner linings so as to be soft, light and comfortable.

MOTIFS MADE BY CHANCE

The fantasies of this season are born “by chance”. A square of fabric falls casually from above, the Accidental stratification creates new reasons.

SUNGLASSES

This model is a re-edition of the iconic ISSEY MIYAKE, made for the first time in 1985. The glasses consist of a single straight line and two circles. The new design uses a light weight titanium frame, an acetate coating on the ends and mineral glass lenses. The original design it is faithfully repurposed with refined materials of the latest generation.
