MOONRAY is a three-minute short film inspired by B-Movie. The plot follows the classic lineup of these films and is based on the fear of the aliens and a possible invasion of the earth that is transformed, through narrative, into a more ironic vision of how all – terrestrial and non – are looking for the same thing : Moncler.

MOONRAY does not want to be a fashion movie but an ironic reading of a MONCLER MOONRAY collection theme. From the Silver Jacket takes shape the encounter / collision beyond the Moon, in the frozen Glaglax planet, between two space heroes and an alien.
On the couch live all the dynamics of the film: human and alien face and fight ‘for Moncler, which in this way crosses the boundaries of the earth to reach the space ….

The inspiration of this part of the Moncler Collection FW17 / 18 recalls the charm of man’s body on the moon.
The character of the brand becomes increasingly ductile, autonomous and versatile. A perfect example of this trajectory in further evolution is the oversized duvet-parka worn by wide boudin with wraparound neck and the waistcoat with soft kalgan detail as it is for man, is defined by garments made of silver ciro cotton. The silicone-washed surface during the last productive step, spells lunar effects and gives rise to vibrant silvery reflections. They emerge from the imaginary 1970s quotes and suggestions that unfold in fashion after the epochal landing of man on the moon. Coton Argentè is a fabric created by the encounter between a muscle of pure ultra light cotton and the resilience of a shiny metallic film.

MOONRAY è uno short film di tre minuti ispirato ai B-Movie. Il plot segue il classico filone di questi film e si basa sulla paura degli alieni e di una possibile invasione della terra che si trasforma, attraverso la narrazione, in una più ironica visione di come tutti – terrestri e non – siano alla ricerca della stessa cosa: Moncler.

MOONRAY non vuole essere un fashion film ma una lettura ironica di un tema di collezione MONCLER MOONRAY. Dalla Silver Jacket prende forma l’incontro/scontro al di là della Luna, nel pianeta ghiacciato Glaglax, tra due eroi dello spazio e un alieno.
Sul capospalla vive tutta la dinamica del film: umano e alieno si fronteggiano e ‘lottano’ per il Moncler, che in questo modo attraversa i confini della terra per approdare nello spazio….

L’ispirazione di questa parte di Collezione Moncler FW17/18 richiama al fascino dell’approdo dell’uomo sulla luna.
Il carattere del brand diviene sempre più duttile, autonomo e versatile. Un esempio perfetto di questa traiettoria in ulteriore evoluzione sono il duvet-parka oversize tracciato da larghi boudin con avvolgente collo e il gilet dai soffici dettagli di kalgan che come per l’uomo, è definita da capi realizzati in cotone ciré argento. La superficie lavata al silicone durante l’ultimo passaggio produttivo, ordisce effetti lunari e dà vita a riflessi argentei vibranti. Affiorano dall’immaginario quotes ’70 e suggestioni che si diffondono nel fashion dopo l’approdo epocale dell’uomo sulla luna. Coton Argentè un tessuto generato dall’incontro tra una mussola di puro cotone ultra light e la resilienza di una lucida pellicola metallica.
