Stunning accessories and embellishments shining at the 2017 Met Ball

At the fashion’s biggest night – Met Ball all celebrities offered their own interpretation of the theme nominated by Anna Wintour – avant-garde, inspired by fashion’s most conceptual designer, Rei Kawakubo .

Met ball is like prom for the fashion industry, which means that celebrities’ outfits are not only about elegance or glamour, but about demonstrating one’s skills in high fashion. Consequently the details – accessories and embellishment are considered extremely important for creating the most catchy and extraordinary total look.

Selena Gomez, the new face of Coach, wore a look specially designed by Stuart Vevers, Creative Director of Coach. The silk chiffon dress enriched by vintage lace overlays and a deep neckline was decorated with hand embroidered floral and colorful sequins. Kiss lock frame bag was composed by champagne and graphite skins. Design was enriched by fun cherry prints and python handles. The final touch: “Love yourself first” – engraved on the bottom of the bag.
