Tommy Hilfiger has chosen Los Angeles to install its TOMMYNOW show, claiming its place in the new era of the democratization of fashion, pushing the boundaries of immediacy even further . The show will take place at TOMMYLAND, taking advantage of the sunset of the famous Venice Beach of Los Angeles and will also present the pieces of the “TommyXGigi” collection : the second collaboration between the brand and the guest model of honor Gigi Hadid.

The collection inspired by California music and creativity will perfectly embody the West Coast Fashion Festival.

All the pieces presented including those from the TommyXGigi collection will go on sale immediately in more than 70 countries.

“TOMMYNOW stands for democratization and the celebration of pop culture,” Tommy Hilfiger said. “The goal is to get closer to customers around the world in an authentic, personalized and intense way.

Always in its will to offer innovative experiences to its customers, the brand will organize a Festival unique of its kind paying tribute to the culture of the young and the Californian spirit, the thread of the collection.

This month also, Tommy Hilfiger will be the first brand to propose to make its shopping from the parade thanks to the recognition of the 3D images allowing to buy directly the pieces of the parade. Thanks to the development of the “TOMMYLAND : SNAP SHOP” application, customers can do their shopping directly from 3D moving images at fashion shows, or from products in stores, and even through 2D images of advertising campaigns and press images.

 

Still pushing forward the principle of democratization of fashion, the brand proposed to the customers to participate actively in the design of the spring 2017 collection with “❤ to be Part”, allowing customers to give their opinion and comment on certain pieces on social networks. The four most scored looks will scroll and will be available immediately on tommy.com.
